Last October it took place the III Edition of the Morocco X-TREME that was carried out by the Adventure Club Touareg. This last edition has been characterized by the hard roads drivers have suffered together with the last Navigation and Driving techniques through 2800 kms in less than 9 days. They crossed over any type of landscape: oueds, hamads, mountains roads, and so on.

Frucosol joined this adventure providing humanitarian values with the help of the drivers; in that way, Frucosol put them in charge of giving school materials to the children from several colleges.

In the club own words after finishing the III Edition: "Thanks to the Company FRUCOSOL from La Rioja, the club has showed its solidarity side. When we deliver the school tools that company had given us to the poorest children we found was one of the most exciting moments of this adventure".

Although Frucosol UK is a reality since about 2 months ago, our people hadn't been able to visit them until some days ago.

Fernando Deza (Production Department Manager) and Victor Martinez (Export Department Manager) visited their offices and spent one day with Mr. Harry Chapman and Trevor Hughes. They had some time to discuss their everyday doubts, visited some customers and talked face to face about suggestions and improvements they have found for our products.

There were no much more time to do anything else but it was the first of many visits Frucosol staff is going to do for sure.

Frucosol will be present in Horeq 2011 (Madrid)

Frucosol, Spanish manufacturer of hotel and restaurant equipment for HORECA since 1991 will be present in the next HOREQ 2011 Exhibition in its 5th Edition.

This will be the last opportunity of the year to see the last advances of this business. The Exhibition will take place in the IFEMA Exhibition Center, from 21st to 23rd of November. It will be open from 10.00 to 19.00.

We just came back from Milano Exhibition (HOST) about more than 10 days ago, but today it is the first time we have some "free time" to inform you about our experience.

There were 5 very busy days, with lot of visitors checking our machines, answering hundreds of questions, closing some business...and above all, meeting our friends. We are many years in the market so we don't have customers, we have friends who are making better their customers' lives, people like Tanel from Estonia, Harry and Trevor from the UK, Apo from Lebanon, Mr. Kabeer and Mr. Zaki from Dubai, Wilson and Gilbert from Indonesia, Mr. Sharfstein from Israel, Mr. Simchai from Israel too, Noemi from Chile, Kristian from Finland, Bruno from France...and many more.

As well, we presented there our new logo, and the comments couldn't be better: all our visitors agreed that it was nicer than the old one.

Frucosol and HOST (Milan), together again...

From 21st to 25th you could find us in the HOST Exhibition that will take place in Milan (Italy). Our booth will be in the Palace 11, Stand B70 C69.

There, besides knowing our new image, you could find all our range of orange juicers (FCompact, F50, F50A, F50C, F50AC, Self Service and Freezer), our cutlery polishers (SH3000 and SH7000), our glass polisher (SV1000) and our decarbonisers (MC500 and MC1000).

It is a good oportunity to find us face to face, and make suggestions, questions, pictures of the machines...everything you need for your everyday work.

Frucosol also helps small football clubs

Frucosol is a leader manufacturer of food service and catering equipment, there is no doubt about it. However, this week, this Spanish company has showed us another face, that is, a company that helps small clubs to survive.

In this case, we want to show you the banner Frucosol is going to exhibit in any match the young indoor football club of A.D. Adcaneos (Calahorra, La Rioja) plays locally. This small team is going to play in the 3rd division of Spanish Indoor Football (it is a very young club as it was set up about 5 years ago), and Frucosol will pay a small quantity to cover that banner and something more.

Frucosol won't get any benefit with this; however, as most of the Frucosol's staff is young people and know how difficult it is to propose something different nowadays to young people, they have decided to help them.

Last 22nd of August, in the premises Frucosol has in Calahorra (La Rioja), Mr. Harry Chapman, Mr. Trevor Hughes, Mr. Florentino Deza and Mr. Victor Martinez signed and agreement that will help Frucosol to increase its business in the UK.

It was the second time Mr. Chapman and Mr. Hughes visited Frucosol, but we are sure it won't be the last one. Frucosol UK will be a reality next 26th of September, and thanks to this agreement, any British bar, hotel, restaurant, catering, any business will have nearer Frucosol equipment.

New visit to Frucosol from the UK

Last month 2 new friends visited us directly from the UK, that is, Mr. Harry Chapman and Mr. Trevor Hughes.

We showed them our factory, offices, stock department and the new premises we are preparing. They checked that we are ready to send as many machines as our customers need anywhere, as we usually handle a minimum stock of more than 600 units.

Mr. Chapman and Mr. Hughes came to see the quality of our decarbonisers, cutlery polishers and glass polisher machine, and could see as well that they can do also a good job with our juicers.

We think we will give more details about these two friend as they are preparing something very interesting... But this will be another post...

During last weekend, it took place in Calahorra the III Exhibition of Collections Trueque 2011, an anual Exhibition organized by the Youthful Association El Lazarillo.

It is clear this Exhibition has nothing to do with Frucosol Business, but our company collaborated with this association and helped with the advertisement brochures about the Exhibition. As well, one of our people helped them to mount and dismount the Exhibition. This association is trying to give children different alternatives to the usual video games such as collecting stamps, coins, figures, stickers, and so on. We think it is an interesting activity and this is why Frucosol helped them as much as possible.

Frucosol in the GULF FOOD SHOW, Dubai

Frucosol will be present one more time at the annual Gulfood Exhibition in Dubai, one of the most important foods, beverage and technology Trade Fair in the Middle East.

Foods, equipment and technology for the HORECA sector will be the main characters in the Dubai World Trade Center, from 27th of February to the 2nd of March.

During those days, the Conventions Center will held Gulfood 2011 and more than 3500 National and International Exhibitors will show their news.

Gulfood will be open from 11:00 to 19:00, with the exception of the last day (2nd of March) that will finish at 17:00. The cost to visit the Fair will be 15 euro for 1 day, and 30 euro for the whole exhibition.

GOST certificate

In the last days, our dealer in Estonia Mr. Tanel Kriisa has informed us that they have got the GOST certificate for their trade operations in Russia, dealing with our orange juicers.

According the to the website http://www.gost-r.info/, the GOST certificate is a obligatory certificate that "certifies quality of actually supplied goods and their compliance with contractual terms."

We think that thanks to the effort Mr. Kriisa is doing in this country, it will be easier for any Russian company to get one of our machines and discover that using it will help them to improve their business.

Successful HOSTELCO Exhibition in Barcelona

SUCCESS, this is the word that could summarize our feeling about the last Hostelco Exhibition, that took place in Barcelona from 5th to 9th of November.

Sincerely speaking, we didn't have great expectations about the Show because a few customers of us had confirmed their attendance to the Show, and there were about a 30% of less exhibitors but the reality was a very different one.

Many people could check the last news of our products: a franchise based on our decarboniser machines, the new machine with a digital counter, last innovations in the cutlery polishers, ....

Some of the sentences we heard many times during the show were:

1) " this is one of the best machines I have ever purchased" about the cutlery polishers.

2) " we have one of these machines, we bought it about more than 5 years ago and it works perfectly, we have never had a problem" about the model F50 orange juicer

3) " we have saved a lot of money" about the decarbonisers.

And some others we don't want to write as this entry will be very long then....

During the Hostelco Show that is going to take place in Barcelona from 5th to 9th of November, our company will present to their customers the new models we have launched, the F50C and the F50AC.

Those new models have the same technical characteristics than its sisters F50 and F50A with an important difference: a digital counter.

With this new accesory, we could programme the quantity of oranges we want to squeeze any time, so we are provoding our machines with a greater autonomy and efficiency.

HOSTELCO 2010 is already here!! Next week, more exactly from 5th to 9th of November, the famous Spanish Exhibition will start in its 15th Edition.

The Exhibition takes place every 2 years, so it is a good opportunity to discover the last products the most famous manufacturers have developed. The last 4 months of 2010

It was "yesterday" when we wished you a happy New Year 2010 and we are now facing the last 4 months of the year, so it is clear time doesn't run but flights...

2010 is being a difficult year as we are finding a lot of economical difficulties, but little by little we are closing this year, and we have to be optimistic with the new one. But we have still to go through these 4 months.

The most important date our company has is HOSTELCO, the most important European Exhibition of Food service and catering equipment. In Barcelona, FRUCOSOL will be present again with all our products: orange juicers, cutlery polishers, glass polishers, decarbonisers, and so on. As well, we could give you more information about our franchises; remember we have opened 4 new ones this year: Girona, Barcelona, Zaragoza and Valencia. It is probably too we start another one in Malaga before the end of the year.

Then, although it has been a difficult time Frucosol is fighting against everything it is on the road to keep on our activity, not only in Spain but also Internationally.

As we commented last month, May was a very busy month for the Frucosol people. Exhibitions in Amsterdam, Madrid and Barcelona took almost all of our time, promoting our products and above all our two main franchises model: ECOLIMPIEZA and SERVIZUMO.
We attended the last ISSA INTERCLEAN in Amsterdam as it can be considered one of the most important Exhibitions in the cleaning sector, so Frucosol was there to show and promote its decarboniser, a cleaning equipment that can be used by many customers (hotels, restaurants, caterings, bars, hospitals,...) to remove the grease and clean all the kitchen tools, filters, trays, pots, pans, frying pans...

Franchise Expo Paris

From 14th to 17th it took place in Paris the Franchise Expo Paris, one of the most important Exhibitions in Europe about Franchises.

Frucosol was there for the 1st time, and we can see we are satisfied with the experience.

We have a new friend in the UK

HOST 09, Trade Show at Milano

One more time, Frucosol attended the most important Exhibition of the HORECA business. It took place from 23rd to 27th of October and the best manufacturers from all over the world were there.
Following its line of Quality, Innovation and Customer's Service, FRUCOSOL show their new products. In this edition, Frucosol explained the new business they are developed based on the FRANCHISE model, focusing on the decarboniser machines, a product that helps the ENVIRONMENT in many ways.
As well, FRUCOSOL gave to their customer the necessary tools to develop their sales job, that is, brochures, CD's, catalogues and so on.
Summing up, it was a good way to meet their customers and contact with people interested on it. The result can be considered very satisfactory as all the customers who visited our booth were very happy with our machines and our attention, so we can be satisfied with it.

The summer has closed its door and a new season has started. September is a difficult month as almost everybody is still thinking of our holidays, but we have to take into account that we have to start again, and we should do it more powerful!!

What is Orange Man?
Orange Man Commercial Juicers is a company with the purpose to market automatic commercial citrus juicing equipment within the United States and Canada. Oranges seem to be the most popular for juicing out of all the different types of citrus fruit. This is the reason we picked the name “Orange” Man. Our logo was created with the super hero theme to imply and provide “super” / superior quality and service.

How is your work everyday?
Fine, yours? My workday mostly entails responding and answering potential customers questions and inquiries.
Also processing new juicer orders and servicing existing customers with parts orders when the need arises.

Why did you choose Frucosol products? Did you compare it with other brands?
Victor at Frucosol contacted us first and we thank him for this. We were sellin another brand but some changes made our cost increased a lot. As one door seemed to be closing another door was opening. Our company was now seeking a new juicer line to add to our website at that time and Victor’s email contact had perfect timing. We were speaking with other companies in Brazil, etc. but talks broke down mostly over there wholesale cost structure being too high.

Which are your most sold products?
I believe this is the Frucosol “F50" automatic commercial orange juicer.

Have you sold something outside USA? Is it one of your objectives?
Yes, we have sold to Canada numerous times and we desire to continue to service the USA and Canada.

Do you have something to say to Frucosol people?
Yes, I enjoy my friendship with all of the Frucosol people in whom I have relationships with. I also look forward to a mutually prosperous business relationship that the future years may bring to us both.

We are modifying our website and one of the new points we are going to include is an interview with some of our dealers. One of the first ones is the company Eltermo (Estonia) and those are some words from its manager, Mr. Tanel Kriisa.

Which are your main customers?

Why did you choose Frucosol products? Did you compare it with other brands?
Actually at first we found commercial citrus juicer from UK and even visited their office in June 2007. Though we decided not to work with them as communication with them was almost non-existing. How can you make business if you`ll get reply after a week?.
We are very glad that we found Frucosol contacts from internet and also very pleased that their product range is wider than just juicers and many other innovative products in list. We like that they are working on research and development of current products and making new exclusive machines.

Do you have something to say to Frucosol people?
We are very glad with your excellent service. Especially I like the possibility to contact with your export manager Mr. Victor Martinez by skype whenever I need to ask or discuss something. We can not imagine business with Frucosol without Victor

NRA Show 2009

We are back! The NRA Show 2009 finished about 2 weeks ago, and it is very soon to consider it successful or not, but we have good feelings about it.
Our machines are more known in the American market, something very good for us, as it is a good sign about the quality of the machines.

Some customers took the oportunity to get very good prices for our products, such as THE SHADE HOTEL in California, MODIS from Colorado or PAPASPIROS in Illinois.

We could check that the economical situation has affected too to the US, but it is clear that they are very positive people and it is almost sure they will be the first ones in getting out from the crisis...

We have to thanks again our dealer from Florida, Mr. Edward (ORANGE MAN), as he was as helpful as always.

NRA 2009 - Chicago (USA)

One more time, Frucosol will be present at the NRA Show that will take place at Chicago from 16th to 19th of May.
It is one of the most important Exhibitions that anyone can find in USA, and, although it is a difficult moment because of the economic situation, Frucosol will bet again for this Show as we have had a great success in previous editions.
We would be very glad to explain our visitors a new type of business we have developed, so anyone could set up their own company with an investment that is no very high. Do not hesitate and ask us how...!!

Potato peeler Frucosol PF-300

"The annual diet of an average global citizen in the first decade of the twenty-first century would include about 33 kilograms (or 73 lbs.) of potato. However, the local importance of potato is extremely variable and rapidly changing. The potato remains an essential crop in Europe (especially eastern and central Europe), where per capita production is still the highest in the world, but the most rapid expansion of potato over the past few decades has occurred in southern and eastern Asia." Wikipedia. This brief sentence explains very well the importance of potatoes nowadays. Due to this sentence and the request of many customers, Frucosol has decided to add one model of these machines to its range of products, the potato peeler PF-300. This machine is able to peel about 10 kgs of orange in no more than 2 minutes, so it is a very important machine for any restaurant, bar, hotel, catering, hospital, ...summing up, any place where the service of meals is continuous. As with the rest of our machines, we have made one video in which you could see how this machine works, as one image is always better than thousands of words.

Last month of February (24th to 27th) it took place the Hoteres Japan Exhibition in Tokyo.
There, Frucosol was also present thanks to its dealer, the company DAC CO LTD.
This company has bet for our glass polisher machine and they are making a very good job.

Successful Trade Fair Gulf Food 2009

There has been about 2 weeks since the Gulf Food Show finished, and we can do a balance of how was the show.

If we look at the numbers, we can say that the Show had less visitors than in previous editions, but the quality of those was very good.

In that Exhibition, Frucosol had a big stand in which visitors could see our 6 different models of orange juicers, the cutlery polishers, the always impressive glass polisher and some other as the grease remover and the oil filter machine.
We can say that the Show was very successful for us from the very begining but now, future numbers will have to give us the reason and let's hope for the best.
We have to thank many people who trusted on our products there and were interested to purchase it directly.

It is almost sure we will come back next year, so we are preparing new products and surprises for the next Gulf Food Show 2010.

Gulf Food 2009

From 23th to 26th of February Frucosol will be present in the 14th Gulf Food Trade show that will take place in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
This is the third time Frucosol will exhibit its products there, so we can say it has become a fixed Trade Show in our calendar of Exhibitions.
There, we will present for the first time our Self Service and Freezer orange juicers.
This is a good oportunity for those companies from the East part of the world to see our machines and check the good quality we provide them

I suppose everybody has thought sometimes the following: I would like to be my own boss....

The people of Frucosol has done it, and we have developed a new business for enterprising people.

We are talking about a business of exploitation, that is, buying some machines and rent it to your customer for a set quantity of money each month. We have developed this new type of business thinking of our grease remover or decarboniser MC-1000. This machine is just a tank, that we have to fill with water, put a temperature of 85ºC and after adding a special detergent, we have the machine ready to remove the grease and dirty of trays, filters, pots, frying pans, summing up, all the kitchen tools. So, with this machine we WILL SAVE WATER, CLEANING PRODUCTS, GAS, TIME, EXTRA WORKING HOURS, and so on.

The business is sure: the person in charge will buy a machine for about 1900 euros, and they will rent it for about 250 euros each month; this quantity is paid by a after sales service that consist on: once a month, the person in charge will have to change the material and water of the machine, something it is made in about 20 minutes. Then, it is clear that after about 9 or 11 months we have repaid the machine and will have profits since then.

A new year has begun, 2009 is already here.
During this year, Frucosol will attend several exhibitions such as Gulf Food in Dubai, NRA in Chicago, the HOST in Milan or Horeq in Madrid. If some of you could be interested in attending any of these, do not hesitate in asking for some invitation.
However many of our customers have confirmed us their presence as Exhibitors in several Shows in London, Athens, Paris, Lisbon, and so on.
We hope this is the year of consolidation of our new products: the orange juicers Frucosol Self Service and Freezer, and the oil filter machine or potato peeler.
Due to the Economical situation, this year maybe the year of "renting" a type of business that can solve the situation many times, but that is not commonly used.
From our side, just confirming that we will go on developing our products with the objective of reaching "the perfection".

Both machines are thought to be installed in supermarkets, hotels, buffets, and places like those.

In both cases, the machines are installed with a stainless steel cabinet; inside, there is a plastic bin where the peels are stored, so we have a great autonomy.

Successful presence of Frucosol in Hostelco

About two weeks ago it took place the Hostelco Show in which Frucosol was present as Exhibitors.
According to the organization, more than 2300 Exhibitors from many countries showed their products in more than 100.000 m2.

All the visitors who came near the 48m2 Frucosol booth could see all the products manufactured by Frucosol: orange juicers, cutlery polishers, glass polishers, decarbonisers, and above all the new machines developed by our firm, that is, an oil filter machine, a potato peeler and the new 2 juicers, the Frucosol Freezer and the Frucosol Self-Service.

It is summer and logically there will be some days in which our company will be closed.
In any case, we won't be as most of the companies that close about 15 or 21 days; we think the fast service is one of the most important things nowadays, and we like to take care of our customers.
Then, the only days we will be closed up to the end of the year are:

25th of July: Spain National Holiday.
15th of August: National Holiday
1st of September: Local Holiday
8th of December: National Holiday
25th of December: Christmas Day

The last week of August (from 25 to 31) we have our local Holiday Week, but our factory won't close. That week just the 50 % of our staff will work.

Last Exhibitions in Madrid and Singapore

2 Exhibitions in less than 15 days.....it seemed a difficult task but we got it. From 14th to 25th of May Frucosol has been present in two leader Shows of the Horeca business: Gourmet in Madrid, and FHA in Singapore. This last one was a mystery as it was the first time we will be there, but it really become a successful Fair: having one of the best booths of the Show; hundreds of people were impressed by Frucosol cutlery dryer and polishers, the glass polisher and of course our orange juicers. Restaurants, bars, hotels, caterings, hospitals, dealers, and even exhibitors had a lot of questions about our machines. My partners Jorge Lorente, Maria Teresa Deza, Fernando Deza and myself had a lot of job trying to explain all the advantages of our machines.
As alwasy, I will show you some pictures of these 2 important Shows.
But there is no more time; in about 7 days, we will be on the air again to fly to Chicago to attend one of the most important Shows of the US, the NRA. In that case, we will present an important innovation: the ETL certification of our orange juicers.
